​​So what is Life Coaching? 

In simple terms, Life Coaching is designed to help people to get where they want to be in life. It guides you towards an understanding of exactly where you are in your life emotionally and mentally, clarifies where you want to be, finds what stops you from reaching your goals, helps to deal with habitual procrastination and real obstacles and assists in working out realistic step by step plan of action.

As a Life Coach, I will help you to understand how your mind may be subconsciously sabotaging your progress and keeps you stuck. Together we will explore what beliefs patterns are keeping your from living the life you really want, discover how to free yourself from your past, and work out a structured and doable plan of moving forward. 

The whole process is aimed at giving you a chance to get through the mud of your repetitive negative thinking patterns and face the real YOU behind the shield of family/society/pear group and cultural expectations. 

Life coaching is not about forcing unnatural changes onto anybody. it works with you, emphasising your existing gifts and abilities. Ultimately you have the knowledge of who you truly are, I am here to help you to find your true self.

Life coaching is entirely forward-thinking.

You have lived your life and come to this point with a rich experience of your own, your own coping mechanisms, your beliefs and values and, most importantly, your own inbuilt Wisdom, which is exactly where we shall go.  My job is to bring to the surface what you already have, but don't use.

Together we will identify unhelpful life concepts and false beliefs, which most of us have, that jeopardise any success and growth in your life. 

It is all about finding solutions, breaking through the old cycle of fear, victimisation and self-sabotage and discovering your inner resources ( which you have!), so you can finally make that big move forward in your life. 

Who is it for?

People come to a life coach when they feel stuck, think that they have no control over their life, need to gain a deeper understanding of a situation or find ways to deal with a specific problem. Subjects can vary greatly: from improving health and unsatisfactory body image to relationship dilemmas, traumas of heartbreak, rebuilding life and finding a positive outlook after divorce, ending a toxic relationship or daring to make a lip into unknown career path etc.

How is it achieved?

I use Life coaching tools, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and some exciting and effective techniques such as Time Line Therapy, Hero's Journey, Human Archetypes, elements of Hypnosis, Naturopathy and nutrition and various healing modalities to help my clients to reshape their lives. Human body-brain connection is so strong, that to change deeply engraved emotions and beliefs as a therapist I tend to work with a Whole Person: Mind, Body and Soul. This is why I will aim to address your situation on all three levels: mental, emotional and physical. 

What about real traumatic events you had experienced?

Life coaching is a constructive and inspiring approach to life lessons which allows you to start living the life you want, rather than being stuck in the perpetual vicious circle of negative past experiences and traumas. It is NOT about simplistically dismissing what happened, but organically changing your outlook on the events in your life. It is about being able to learn your lessons and release what is not working for you anymore. 

If there is only one thing I can say on the subject of our "Past" it has to be: Your past doesn’t have to be your future, and it is you who hold the power of change.

 “As within so without” - Your Body of Evidence 

We literally embody our persistent emotions and thoughts. The connection between mental state and physiology is not only evident, it is direct. Outside is only a reflection of what is going on inside. Our repetitive thoughts, deeply held beliefs about life and ourselves constantly dictate how we live: from small seemingly unimportant choices of what to have for lunch to major decisions such as whom we choose as life partners, which profession we settle in, who are our friends and what we generally achieve. More often than not chronic health conditions stem directly from a person's emotional history. Dealing with this hidden "non-material" level often leads to resolving a physical problem naturally. 

A Story of ME:  words, words, words

We all have a "Story of ME" which we, without giving it another thought,  repeatedly tell ourselves and others. Without realising how much energy those few words carry,  we say things like: I am a mess, I am a workaholic, I always have been a worrier, I had a traumatic upbringing, I can't change myself, It's too late for me, I can't do this; I am a perfectionist, I am unable to quit drinking etc...

By doing this we literally label ourselves. These labels subconsciously "program" our behaviour and "drive" us to repeat an unwanted cycle again and again. If you feel and see yourself as a victim of your life circumstances, this is how the world will see you too, and, more importantly, this is how it will treat you. Words have energy. By changing how you talk to yourself and about yourself you shift this energy and point it in a different direction. The direction you want to go.
